Step 4

If you have not done so already, pick a fragrance. You may choose to use the whole bottle (recommended) or if you want your candle scent to be subtle, you can add in less. Keep the bottle and give back to the instructor, we recycle them!

Step 6

All mixing of candle wax will be done in your white cup. If you choose to color your wax, now is the time. You can test how your color will set by scooping a little wax onto you tray’s tissue paper and letting it set. Once you are happy with your color, add your scent. Give your wax a good stir, at least 30 seconds, to ensure everything is evenly incorporated.

Mix Your Wax

Step 7

Pour wax into your vessel, slowly, to avoid and splashing and spilling.

Pour Your Wax

Step 8

Your candle will take about 45 minutes to set (more or less depending on the atmospheric temperature) you can take this time to get another beverage!

Let Your Candle Set

Step 9

If you are choosing to add any 3D elements on top your candle you can now plan how you would like to arrange them.

Step 10

Grab a buddy to help you!
The Instructor can also help you.

Depending on atmospheric temperature, this process will need to move quickly.

1st person: use the heat gun to melt the top layer of wax. Keep the gun perpendicular to avoid splashing.
2nd person: Once enough wax is melted, place everything in desired position on top.

If you are using glitter, you can add that after adding your 3D decorations.
