Valentine’s Candle Instructions
Use this step-by-step guide to
create your own magical candles!
Step 1
Along with your candle vessel, you will need wick(s), wick sticker(s), wick stabilizer(s), stir stick, 1 oz bottle of fragrance oil and optional candle dye.
Black tin vessels: Only 1 wick needed
Glass vessels: 2 or 3 wicks needed
Gather Your Supplies

Clean with alcohol and a paper towel to be sure that the wick will stick properly.

Use wick sticker(s) to secure your wick. Use the wick stabilizer to keep your wick straight and upright.

See the instructor when you are ready for wax!

All mixing of candle wax will be done in your white cup. If you choose to color your wax, now is the time. After you are happy with your color, add your scent. Give your wax a good stir to ensure everything is evenly incorporated.
NOTE: Glitter will not be visible in your candle when the wax sets. Save glitter for the top of your candle, it should be applied last.

Pour wax into your vessel, slowly, to avoid and splashing and spilling.

Your candle will take at least 30 minutes to set (more or less depending on the atmospheric temperature) you can take this time to pick out your wax decorations, get another beverage or visit the photo booth!

Depending on atmospheric temperature, this process may need to move very quickly.
1st person: Use the heat gun to melt the top layer of wax. Keep the gun perpendicular to avoid splashing.
2nd person: Once enough wax is melted, QUICKLY place everything in desired position on top.
If using glitter, that will need to be applied last.

Use the black snipping tool to cut the wick to about 1/4” and you’re done!
